With the 2012 season approaching, we have decided to push the start of the IBL back to the summer of 2013. We are pleased to announce franchises coming to Muncie Indiana and Marion Ohio. We are currently looking for ownership groups for both cities. The IBL was formed to bring affordable family entertainment to smaller cities that normally wouldn't have something like this. The IBL is pleased to announce the first team for the 2013 season. The team will be located outside of Detroit Michigan. The exact location has not be finalized and will be announced soon. Keep checking back for more updates. |

The IBL is the Independent Baseball League, set to start in June of 2012. With being a fan of minor league sports, I wanted to create a professional baseball league, and bring it to cities that normally would not have something like this. Playing in smaller communities throughout the Northern United States will give teams the ability to have much lower costs then other baseball teams in similar leagues, while providing quality and afforadable entertainment for locals in each area.
